Women of colour together, smiling — a CWCC community gathering.

A community for Women of Colour in Cornwall to feel seen, supported and able to thrive.

Who we are

Built from lived experience.

CWCC community — women of colour gathering together.

Cornwall Women of Colour Collective (CWCC) is a community-driven organisation creating safe, culturally aware spaces where women of colour in Cornwall can connect, feel supported, and grow.

Born from lived experience and a deep understanding of the need for belonging, CWCC was created in response to the lack of spaces where women of colour feel truly seen and understood. We exist to ensure that women of colour are not only included, but represented, heard, and valued in ways that reflect their lived realities.

For us, representation goes beyond visibility — it is about creating space for voices, cultures, and experiences that are often overlooked, and ensuring they are present in community life, opportunities, and the conversations that shape them.

What began as a response to isolation has grown into a collective grounded in empowerment, community, representation, inclusivity, authenticity, and wellbeing.

Through wellbeing programmes, support groups, cultural events, and skills-based workshops, we create spaces that build confidence, celebrate identity, strengthen connections, and support both personal and collective growth.

Our vision is a Cornwall where women of colour feel seen, empowered, and able to thrive without isolation or limitation.

At CWCC, we are not just delivering programmes — we are building a community where every woman's voice matters, her culture is honoured, and she feels a true sense of belonging.

What guides us

Five pillars, one collective.

Everything we do comes back to these — the ways we hold space, build confidence, and widen the circle for women of colour in Cornwall.
